After School Club - About The Club

For club members who wish to complete their homework we offer a homework corner. Homework is voluntary and our setting is informal and relaxing. Other after school clubs that currently provide homework support have helped to improve attendance, higher achievement and greater motivation & self esteem.

Play offers children a physically engaging opportunity to learn the necessary life-skills they need to be successful in the classroom and later on in the workplace. Play also fosters a love of learning. Therefore, it is our aim to ensure that warm and welcoming play opportunities exist at Village End for every child.

Village End After School Club is open daily during school term-time. We offer a warm, friendly environment where children can enjoy a variety of play and creative activities.

A school transfer service is available between 12 - 12.30pm for preschool children and 3 - 3.30pm for primary school children.

A home-cooked meal can also be included for children who attend after 5pm. And for parents who require a more flexible collection arrangement, we offer extended care until 7.30pm. This can be booked either on an Ad Hoc or Permanent basis.

We also have a limited number of Breakfast Club and Holiday Camp places available for our After School Club members. Please call us on tel: 01344 623668 or 07778 555042 should you wish to arrange a visit.
