After School Club - Meal Plan

Our study support program is available both before and after school. Our support staff can assist children with their homework, maths, reading and spelling. Participation is voluntary and our setting is informal and relaxing. Other similar services currently in operation have been linked to better attendance, higher achievement and improved motivation & self esteem.

At Village End children will have plenty of chance to exercise. Exercise helps develop social skills such as sharing, taking turns, cooperating and learning about winning and losing. It also helps develop physical skills such as running, eye-hand coordination and ball skills. And it offers children a sense of belonging as they do things with other children, either in casual or organised activities.

Play offers children a physically engaging opportunity to learn the necessary life-skills they need to be successful in the classroom and later on in the workplace. Play also fosters a love of learning. Therefore, it is our aim to ensure that warm and welcoming play opportunities exist at Village End for every child.

After School Club - Now Open...
An extensive range of physical activities, study support,
hobby clubs, a healthy meal and a great network of friends!

Dinner is served between at 5.00pm and includes a selection of the following:

Lasagne
Ploughman's lunch
Moussaka
Chicken curry
Roast dinner
Fishcakes/Fish fingers
Sweet and sour pork
Shepherds pie
Home cooked pizza
Fish/chicken/beef/lamb pie
Filled jacket potatoes
Tuna pasta bake
Spaghetti bolognaise
Beef casserole with dumplings

The above dishes are all served with a selection of fresh salad/vegetables.

Fresh drinking water is always available throughout the day.
