2. Services that we provide
Food: A healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks can be provided for children if required. Should you provide your child with a packed lunch, please make sure the contents are balanced, healthy and sufficient for the time that they're at camp. On hot days please remember to include an ice pack with your lunch or freeze the drink overnight as we do not have adequate fridge facilities.
Staff: We employ both qualified and unqualified childcare assistants who assist with all childcare related responsibilities on and off Village End premises. All staff and volunteers undergo a CRB check.
In an Emergency: In the event of a medical emergency, we will carryout first aid treatment and seek medical advice if required. We will also consent to any necessary medical treatment on your behalf until you are present.
Transportation: Occasionally, we may take a group of children on a local outing to a park or place of interest. All staff have fully comprehensive vehicle insurance and will ensure that each child uses an appropriate car seat. 3. Charges and conditions of Childcare provision
Payment Terms: Payment is due on receipt of invoice. Your child's place will only be reserved once we have received payment in full. There is an administration charge of £10 should you wish to change a date, (subject to availabilty). No refund will be given should you wish to cancel your booking unless you have chosen to include cancellation insurance.
Cancellation Insurance: To give parents peace of mind we offer a cancellation insurance scheme where we reimburse in full for bookings cancelled due to medical reasons. This applies to ill health/injury either to the child or parent if it meant that the child was not able to attend. Full reimbursement for all the days missed (minus the insurance premium), will be made on receipt of a valid doctor's certificate. Cancellation insurance is optional and is charged at £1 per child, per day.
Overtime: Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 6.30pm. For authorised care outside these hours, we reserve the right to charge a levy of 25p, per minute, per child. For unauthorised care outside these hours, we reserve the right to charge a levy of 50p, per minute, per child.
