Our activity program is presently being organised and scheduled. Listed below are just some of the ideas currently under consideration.

Sports & Fitness - Football, netball, basketball, rounders, volleyball, cricket, trampolining, archery, badminton, water polo, water volleyball, hockey, gymnastics, orienteering, swimming, obstacle races, croquet, table tennis, quad biking, golf, tag rugby, tug of war, tennis, athletics, treasure hunts, dance and aerobics

Arts & Crafts - Puppets, egg people, ??? plus other great ideas from things we would normally throw away.

Archeology Club - Members who join this club will be given the opportunity to go out on organised digs. They will also be shown how to use a metal detector to identify buried treasure. All artifacts will be brought back to Village End for cleaning and closer examination. Any interesting finds will then be photographed and detailed on our website. Visits to a Museum and a Archeology Centre will also be organised.

Orienteering Club - Members will have the opportunity to trial our orienteering club within the grounds, before go out on organised trips to places such as the Lookout and the Great Park.

Club Newsletter - Children will be encouraged to develop their skills in writing and journalism by producing their very own club newsletter. They will have the chance to interview one another, make up advertisements, and take photos. The club newsletter will then be published online on the Village End website.

The Village End Comic - Each member will be given the opportunity to make a contribution to The Village End Comic. Members can make up their own individual cartoon characters and words. The Comic will then be published and put on sale to our target readers, 'the parents'.

Occasionally, we plan outings to local parks and places of interest. This summer we visited Windsor Castle then stopped off for a picnic, before cooling off at the water park.
At Village End children will have plenty of chance to exercise. Exercise helps develop social skills such as sharing, taking turns, cooperating and learning about winning and losing. It also helps develop physical skills such as running, eye-hand coordination and ball skills. And it offers children a sense of belonging as they do things with other children, either in casual or organised activities.
